Questions

What is a dholki invitation?

A dholki is the evening of songs with the dholak at home in the days before the wedding. The card invites family and friends with the date, time and address, often for several nights.

Can I invite for more than one dholki night?

Yes. Add each night as its own event, or write the dates in the note line.

Is the nikah card maker free?

Yes. 25 designs are free to make and download as a picture or PDF, with no account. 15 premium designs, with rose petals, royal borders and your own photo, come with Premium.

Can I send the card on WhatsApp?

Yes. The picture is made in WhatsApp status size (1080 × 1920), so it looks sharp in chats and on your status. You can also download a PDF to print.

Can I make it in Urdu?

Yes. Switch the language to Urdu: the names show in Nastaliq and the dates and times are written in Urdu.

Can I put all the wedding events on one card?

Yes. Add up to four events (mehndi, barat, nikah, walima, dholki, rukhsati or mayun), each with its own date, time and venue. The card arranges them for you.

What is an invitation website?

Your own link, like chatwrapper.site/i/ayesha-hamza, that guests open from WhatsApp like a small website: an opening scene (envelope, curtains, haveli doors and more), your names and couple, a countdown, each event with Google Maps and Add to calendar, RSVP and duas. It switches itself off 30 days after the wedding.

Can I use our own photo?

Yes, with a premium design: your photo sits in a gold arch window instead of the illustrated couple. You can also choose a faceless or back-view couple, or no picture at all.
