What is a barat card?
A barat card invites guests to the barat, the day the groom's family arrives for the bride. It shows both names, often the fathers' names, and the date, time and marquee or hall. Make it here and send it as a picture on WhatsApp or print the PDF.
How to make your barat card
- Type the names and events. Bride and groom (fathers' names if you like), then each event's date, time and venue. English or اردو.

What should be written on a barat card?
The groom's family invites guests to the barat: both names, the date, the hall or marquee, and often the barat arrival time and dinner time. Add the hosts' names in the note line.
Can the barat and walima be on one card?
Yes. Use the barat and walima card, or add the walima as a second event on this page; each gets its own date, time and venue.
Is the nikah card maker free?

It switches itself off 30 days after the wedding.
Can I use our own photo?
Yes, with a premium design: your photo sits in a gold arch window instead of the illustrated couple. You can also choose a faceless or back-view couple, or no picture at all.
